EGYPT off the beaten path
Teresa spent several years working and traveling in Egypt. She visited most of the "must-see" attractions, discovering the joys of wandering off the beaten paths. She has been guiding friends to places particularly close to her heart, trying to introduce them to what is unusual and interesting, showing them the true face of this country, far from the commercialism that reigns in the resorts.
Walid has traveled the length and breadth of the desert, he knows not only local curiosities, but above all the people who help us reach places that are generally little known, far from the beaten track.
This is what sets us apart - we go where mass tourists don't reach, providing breathtaking views, a taste of real adventure, and unforgettable experiences.

Our trips last 7-11 days, but we encourage everyone to extend their individual stay in the places we know and recommend.

I will present the history of Egypt in an accessible way, we will touch the most important relics of material culture, we will enter the oldest pyramids, but above all we will go to the desert, where we will spend three days and two nights contemplating the changing landscape and geological wonders such as a petrified forest, a cemetery of prehistoric fish, and at night - the starry sky.7 days

You will learn about the history, culture and vastness of Egypt without even knowing it. We will visit museums, enter the oldest pyramids, and walk through streets straight from the 1001 Nights. We will venture into the desert, where we will spend three days and two nights contemplating its richness during the day and the starry sky at night. Our destination will be a chain of oases, rarely visited by tourists, where we'll have the opportunity to explore the local monuments and observe daily life.11 days

We'll also immerse ourselves in the desert, spending two nights under the stars. We'll explore the origins of Christianity in Egypt through the lens of material culture – we'll enter the churches of early Cairo and visit monasteries founded in the first centuries AD near Wadi Natrun, the Fayum Oasis, and the Red Sea. We'll traverse Sinai, visiting St. Catherine's Monastery and Mount Moses, and we'll also spend time relaxing by the Red Sea and its coral reefs. We'll also immerse ourselves in the desert, spending two nights under the stars, and touch the oldest pyramids and treasures of Ancient Egypt.11 days

We'll follow the route Alexander the Great took from Alexandria to the Siwa Oasis. Along the way, we'll visit the cemeteries left behind by the Battle of El Alamein and rest on the beaches of Marsa Matrouth. We'll explore the oasis and its immediate surroundings, and even venture into the desert, to the gates of the Sea of Dunes (the same one that consumed Cambyses' great army...).

We'll have the rare opportunity to host a geology professor on our trip, who will introduce us to the world of stones and teach us how to read the desert. We'll spend five days and four nights in the desert, but at the same time, we'll learn about the history of Egypt and visit the most important treasures of Cairo and its surroundings, such as the New Museum and the pyramids.11 days

On August 2, 2027, the moon's shadow will cause a total solar eclipse, offering one of the longest solar eclipses of its kind in the 21st century. The eclipse will traverse the entire length of Egypt from northwest to southeast.We will experience this in the Siwa Oasis, nestled among palm groves, where this spectacular phenomenon will last for almost 6 minutes.We will also have the opportunity to learn about Egyptian history and culture by visiting museums in Cairo and Alexandria. There will also be time for relaxation by the sea.8 days

- Ground transfers between cities

- Care provided by an experienced tour guide and cultural assistant
without:
- Flight tickets to Cairo and any internal flights
- Insurance
- Visas
- Entrance tickets to selected tourist attractions
- Customary tips (baksheesh) for our drivers and tour guides (€50)
- The latter are payable on your own
* Due to the dynamic economic situation in Egypt, despite the best intentions, the calculation may change,
but I trust that the difference will not be dramatically large.
Payment Policy:
1st installment – 400€ – payable upon registration. This deposit is refundable in the event of cancellation until the second installment is paid.2nd installment – 300€ - 7-day trip / €500 for an 11-day trip – non-refundable deposit, payable no later than 21 days before the start of the trip.3rd installment – remaining amount – payable in cash on site.If we cancel the trip, we will refund the advance payment.
